What (Not) To Do!

It is hard to admit, but like any other business, we too were advised to write a blog. We were told it is “good for engineering Social Optimization” with minimal cost. This may be true and we may reap financial rewards, but we have had to compromise on the wider application of what we have to say. We have tempered our language and also the content to do so, but it is an exercise in futility. Since we are passionate about helping change lives in more ways than what one can conventionally imagine, and our products are just one of the ways we can help, from now on, we will speak more freely with all y’all in the hopes we can influence you positively without you ever having to buy any of Yogical’s organic beauty and personal care products.

It would not be incorrect if one was to say that the current generation of humans has benefited immensely from the toil and sacrifices of our predecessors. All the comforts and conveniences we take for granted were not there not too long ago. Our life expectancy has doubled in the last five decades. It is not hard to imagine what those who did not have our luxuries would say if they were to see how far their hard-work has brought us. While we sing a song to honor our ancestors, we must also explore beneath the surface to understand the paradox we call our life. Here is an example to better build this case: Everyone is familiar with a relay race. Multiple runners with predetermined distances to run. Each runner is committed to the chain where the goal for last runner is to gain more ground than what the previous runner did. It is this idea that is at the root of human development. Therefore, it is one thing to take for granted the amenities and the luxuries we have, while inexcusable, but yet no match to the rather unacceptably bizarre fact that each one of us take for granted our bodies. The impermanence of life in general and youth in particular, makes the conundrum so much deeper. If we cannot take the responsibility to become the best we can be, to have the best bodies we can have, we are not responsible enough to do anything else. Like you would not voluntarily burn your hand roasting a marshmallow, you cannot stay mute to the wear and tear this day to day politics of life brings upon you. While the answers to our problems require deeper digging, the solutions, on the other hand, can be found on the surface itself. Don’t let laziness come in between you and where you should be.

By using Yogical’s ideas and products, we cannot guarantee you will see the change you desire, but we can definitely guarantee that without changing your ways and what can positively influence those ways, you will not achieve what you desire. The question you want to ask yourself is this: If I could be my ideal self, the self which I desire, what would I look like and equally importantly, how would I conduct myself? Then one may also ask, all that is fine, but how do I get where I want to go? The true answer lies in finding and acknowledging your current truth – where are you today?

We look forward to journeying together for an ongoing companionship and building on this conversation. And yes, some people can write succinctly and with immense impact in half the words we have used, but then we would not let length of this note determine the value of our message. Our style is our own and we are happy with it.

What Does Happiness Mean to You?

Truth will set you free!
As strange as it sounds, humans have a tendency to please themselves with rather silly statuses. For example: we like to be the first to get called to board an aircraft; we like to be the boss of our office; etc, etc. While we also claim to be the boss of our life where we are also our own and employee, yet we never truly hold ourselves accountable for a rather dismal job, both as a slacking employee as well as a rather mediocre boss. For an optimal outcome, treat yourself as you would treat someone who you are morally responsible for. For example, it is your moral responsibility to give the best to your child, no matter what personal sacrifices you have to make in the bargain. It is this same zeal you must exhibit in looking after yourself. In doing so, you will discover your real importance. You will discover yourself and become one with yourself. And it is this oneness which one must acquire in order to welcome true happiness in one’s life.
Life is no bed of roses. It is chaotic and riddled with pain. You can never truly know what anything means to you unless you build some metrics to measure them. Ladies and gents, what has gone by, you can never make it better or worse, but you can cherish the nice parts forever. But that is definitely not the most important part of your life. It is what lies ahead which not only is the only important part of your life, but one which deserves your utmost attention. Your happiness – state of mind – is rooted in everything you do from this point on, for yourself and only yourself. And you can rest assured, it will radiate outward also… making those others happy who you truly care for.
To sum it up, you are the occasion you must celebrate every waking up moment of your life. And during your sleep, allow organic beauty products like Yogical celebrate your beauty.

You Need To Love Yourself Like You Never Have!

Our argument is that your wellbeing is like an infant and you, its parent. Therefore, it is hard to imagine how on earth one would care or claim to care about anything more than oneself. You ask people and they will tell you all kinds of things. With minimal scrutiny you can conclude that they are talking of someone who is not them and about a life that is not theirs. Ironical, yet we all indulge in this act, day in and day out.

We live an imaginary life. If it was just to live a life of (our) dreams, imagination would be the fuel on which one would fly the rocket of one’s life. But in reality, it is the farthest thing from that. In fact, it is a life we don’t lead. And therefore, this lie only leads to deluding oneself, which finally makes up for a lot of discontentment. Consequently, as we age, we increasingly become bitter without any recourse. So before it is too late for you, make yourself the only (primary) priority of your life. Think about it this way: You are the star, the sun of your life, the center of your universe, if you will. And around you rotate(s) everything and everyone important to you. And if you radiate the light of happiness, joy, youthfulness, or whatever else that emits from you, those surrounding you will become the recipients of that radiance. This is the primary Yogic-Logic principle on which one must lay their life. All else is secondary, but being Yogical, the first and the most important step in becoming one with yourself.

Let today be the last day you under-treat yourself. The moments that have past, be the end of this mistreatment you have subjected yourself to. Acknowledge —– that you haven’t been all that nice to yourself; that you have abandoned yourself fully or some parts of you; that the excitement which you look for outside, resides within; that it is time you fall in love with yourself, all over again; And if you don’t see the logic, you are perhaps not ready yet. We just hope it isn’t too late when you figure it out.
